Specifically designed to meet the needs of the low vision community, Low Vision Cocoons are highest quality OveRx eyewear available. All Low Vision Cocoons are scratch resistant and optically correct, feature adjustable Flex2Fit temples, Ballistic Nylon™ frames with Soft Touch finishes and 360° of wrap around protection for maximum comfort and protection. The side shields are precisely regulated to match the exact light transmission, UV cut off and tint of the accompanying front lenses. All Low Vision Cocoons include case and cloth and have a lifetime frame warranty. All Cocoons Low Vision provide 100% UVA/UVB protection.
 Boysenberry lens tint is great for indoor and outdoor use, reduces glare to provide improved visual acuity. The lens allows 15% visible light transmission and 90% blue light.
 Hazelnut reduces glare and provides heightened contrast when used for indoor and outdoor applications The lens allows 18% visible light transmission and blocks 98% of blue light.
 Lemon maximizes brightness and enhances contrast in low light conditions to improve visual acuity. The lens allows 82% light transmission and blocks 40% of blue light.
 Orange maximizes contrast enhancement by intensifying backgrounds to improve object definition and clarity. The lens allows 34% light transmission and blocks 100% of blue light.

Solar Shields®: Absorptive Filters- Contrast Enhancing Glasses
SolarShield© Contrast-Enhancing Absorptive Filters are specifically designed for the Low Vision patient. These absorptive filters were developed in cooperation with Dioptics Medical Products, the manufacturer of the #1 doctor recommended sunglass. SolarShields© provide 40% more preotection from the sun than ordinary sunglasses because of the protective top and side shield design.
Five lens tints are available - gray, plum, yellow, amber, and orange. Gray polarized and plum lenses decrease overall light transmission and reduce glare. Yellow, orange, and amber lenses decrease blue light transmission and increase contrast.
Three frame sizes are available - small, medium, and large. Small frames will fit patients who wear smaller eyewear or no eyewear at all. Medium and large sizes will comfortably fit over standard eyewear.
All SolarShields© block 100% of UVA/UVB rays, have bend-to-fit temples for a custom fit, and lenses can be Rx'd.
