A clear view in every direction

It’s easy to rotate, point and position the SmartView 360’s camera to where you need to see — either in front of the monitor or to the side. When moved from one position to another, the camera parameters are automatically saved to memory for quick recall. View text in a book with the black and white enhanced contrast or simply twist the camera for a full-color image of a blackboard or presentation screen.

Quick and easy to use

Use the camera’s precise zoom control to adjust the magnification in precise steps to the level that best suits your needs. Just one press of a button quickly switches from seeing the image in full color to viewing text in an enhanced contrast mode. Press the “find” button for a quick overview of what you are viewing and to easily locate what you want to magnify.

Fits any workspace

The SmartView 360’s compact design takes up less desk space than 2 sheets of paper. Whether you place material in front of the monitor or to the side, the camera is easily moved to view multiple documents spread over your workspace.

Makes everyday viewing easier

Use one of the 16 enhanced contrast modes to read books and magazines, or use the full color mode to view photographs or refer to directions on containers and packaging. Applying makeup or fixing your hair is really easy with the self-view mode’s full-color, magnified image.

Three Ways to Magnify
The ONYX Deskset models offer three distinct views: distance view, document view, and self view.

In distance view, even objects from across large rooms or auditoriums can be seen in sharp focus.

Document view gives you the ability to magnify items such as reading materials, daily business tasks, classroom assignments, product labels, and craft projects.

With self view, you get a magnified true mirror image close up. Making it even easier to use, the camera remembers its settings in each position so you can switch back and forth between viewing modes without refocusing or otherwise readjusting the camera.

Now with a rolling carrying case! ONYX Deskset models include a unique rolling carrying case with document pockets, zippered compartment for the power supply and remote control, and top-mounted zipper for placing the entire ONYX Deskset inside. Carry by two handles, or wheel your ONYX Deskset behind you with the telescoping handle.

The ONYX Deskset 17 features a camera mounted on a rotating arm to a 17-inch flat panel monitor. The ONYX Deskset 19 features the same rotating arm and camera and a 19-inch flat panel monitor. The camera ’s mounting arm for both models has three axes, and the camera itself rotates up to 350 degrees. Place the camera in an almost endless number of positions to fit any viewing requirement. The camera mounts on either side of the monitor to best accommodate the task at hand.

Overlay View

This unique mode allows you to retain your document layout and full color images while magnifying the text in your choice of colors. You can also click on a word, and Readit will start reading your document in your choice of voices.

Horizontal View

This view formats all of your document's text into a single horizontal line across the screen where it can be scrolled at various speeds in large print and your choice of colors. Your document can also read aloud in this mode.

Vertical View

This view centers one word on each line where it can be scrolled vertically at various speeds, sizes, and colors as well as read aloud.

Column View

This view fits as many words as it can onto each line where it can be scrolled vertically at various speeds, sizes and colors as well as read to you.
